Khan Academy - Communication Tool Evaluation

Summary

Khan Academy is a gold mine of educational videos and practice activities that range from kindergarten to college including subject areas such as math, science, humanities, business, and technology.  It also includes test preparation including but not limited to SAT prep and MCATs.  Accounts may be set up by individuals, parents, and teachers.  Teachers have the ability to create classes, recommend individual videos or missions, and monitor student progress.  Students can use the videos to supplement what they are learning in class, remediate lessons they have missed, or challenge themselves to tackle more challenging topics.  For those who are interested, they may also search for videos by Common Core standard.
