Carlene Bouley Module 5 Collaboration Task:  Google Docs
Note: Highlighted area is the score.  If not highlighted it
is Not Applicable.

Google Docs is an extremely helpful tool for the classroom.
This tool allows teachers and students to create a document
on the Google Drive and share it.  This gives us the ability to
allow for student peer editing, conferencing and collaboration.
The fact that we can comment on particular areas of the document
is invaluable in the editing process.  I have used Google Docs when
my 8th grade students wrote their individual research papers.  It
allowed me to make comments directly on the document and they
could ask questions and resolve the issues.  This way the students
were able to revised their drafts immediately.  I will be using
Google Docs for my students’ papers from no on.  I put a 3 for
Student use as that is my personal opinion based on my experience
with it.
