Carlene Bouley Module 5 Collaboration Task:  Blogger
Note: Highlighted area is the score.  If not highlighted it
is Not Applicable.

Blogger is a communication tool for students and teachers to share ideas, thoughts, and work.
Students and teachers can write posts to the blog and other students and teachers can comment on
the posts.  I have begun to use it and have found it useful in allowing students
who would normally not speak up in class to do so.  Additionally, it has enabled me to curtail some students
who usurp the whole class discussion, this way they have an outlet and we can go on in
class with other things/topics.  The downside to Blogger is that I have had a difficult time setting
up all of my students as authors because of our school’s technical issues.  Another downside is
the upkeep.  A teacher will have to ensure that the students are updating regularly.  One very
important component of this is that my students wanted our blog to remain private, this
tool gives us that option.
