Evaluating Google Classroom

Google classroom is a great tool that connects multiple platforms students, and teachers, are hopefully already using - Google docs, calendar, forms and more.  I appreciate that all of these are organized in one place, as it will make the workflow easier for students and educators.  It also allows for feedback and submissions in real time- a useful feature.

Educators can invite students to participate, or students can join with a specific class code.  This opens the door for other forms of communication, potentially social media connections through Google Plus, which is a potential additional communication tool to explore, with a wider audience than the class.

It’s relatively new, and has a space to share feedback for additional features.  I appreciate the potential response to needs for students and teachers to make this an even more user-friendly feature.
