Glogster Edu

Features:  Glogster is a platform that works like a multimedia bulletin board.  Users can create boards with video, links, artwork, text boxes, and pictures.  Teachers can also create the boards ans use them as assignments t work through and with.  There is a fee of $39 / year for one teachers with 30 student users.  It also appears to have many templates available and some educational resources as well.

Classroom Use:  This would take a bit of time to get up and running, I would think.  To create these glogs and have them available for students to use would be very time consuming, although the actual making of one looks to be easy (finding content would be time time consuming part).  With older student, they could create glogs as a form of responding to assignments or recording their learning.  this would be too difficult for early learners to use, however.

Rating:  Glogster Edu earned a score of 26/30, making it an interesting option for my target group, although the cost and the lack of uses for the target group make it unlikely to be one I'd actually use.
