Accessibility: Facebook can be used on multiple web browsers and platforms.

Security/Promotions: Users need to sign up for Facebook and can request to become your friend. Users do no need to accept friend request, which allows user to keep information from those who they wish not to have it. There are advertisements for the user to read, as well as click on to gain access to their sites. Not secure for all age groups.

Functions: User can upload a document, videos, and such to the user’s own page.

Self-Editing/Archiving: User can upload videos, picture where they can tag others, set-up groups or links with ease or with tutorials.

Personalization: You can have an expansive profile that includes your likes, dislikes, interests, etc. to be shared with those in your friends list.

Use in classroom: Great way to get parents involved with students classes as well as a place for them to ask questions when needed. A classroom teacher may create a group where parents can post questions and be involved with the students’ classroom experience.
