Wikispaces scored a 19/24 with our assessment rubric.  Wikispaces.com is a multifunctional wiki educators can use as a collaborative communication tool with students and colleagues.  It is a great platform to post and archive information and media including Blogs, RSS feeds, links to research etc. in an organized fashion.  It is free for educators but takes some time to become proficient in using the many functions.  Tech. support is limited to email and online tutorials which are helpful especially for non-digital natives.  Links to wiki content can be easily posted to any learning management system.
