Accelerated
Reader is an amazing classroom tool. It provides students with
immediate feedback on their reading comprehension and vocabulary.
Students will read books at their reading level, then they can take
reading and vocabulary quizzes on those books. The feedback on
their success is immediate. They can see how they did on this book
as well as how they are doing on their reading goals for the
trimester as well as they year. They can see and set their goals!
The
feedback for teachers is amazing! Teachers are able to see each of
their students reading levels. See their strengths and weaknesses on
the common core standards. Depending on how the students did
teachers can create their working groups.
