Kidblog

Tool #6:  Kidblog

Features:  Kidblog is a communication tool that allows students to publish writing safely.  Students write with a purpose for a real audience.  This tool enables students to connect with other classes or even around the world.  This tool allows teachers and students to document growth over time.  The teacher monitors all activity.

Use:  Students could use this tool to work on their writing strategies.  Writing for a real audience encourages students to  be more precise in their writing.  Students can share with a number of audience members and receive quick feedback.
