Today's Meet is a way to have a conversation by opening a room. As people enter the room, they establish a nickname. The room can be available for a certain time and it is easy to share the link of the room for attendees. The free version of Today's Meet does not have archive capability. One can upgrade for that feature.
I have used Today's Meet in the classroom to have a digital conversation similar to a Twitter Chat. I found it beneficial because all students participated and shared their views and ideas. I believe Today's Meet is an easy tool to use because accounts do not have to be established such as with Twitter. Today's Meet can be used in any class as well with any staff conversation. It could also provide possibilities to have a virtual meeting with parents and hear their voice.
