In reviewing Snapchat, I found that the ease of use, availability, and access were all very high. I find Snapchat limited as far as searching and the ability to group contacts. Snapchat supposedly erases the pictures, videos, and messages after 10 seconds. This means that there is no archive of documents. The communication tool is meant for instant communication and sharing.
Snapchat in education could certainly be used to promote what is happening in the classroom and/or school each day. Stories can be created highlighting the amazing education occurring. I found out from my son that his teacher connects to Snapchat so students learn about countries by watching stories in the Discover section.
